Sesame Street Live

Sorry about the crappy pictures! We took the kiddos to see Sesame Street Live last night! We have taken Collin every year since he was 13 months old and always enjoyed the show. This year, whew, it was little slow and painful! The kids still loved it. So, what do you get for $500 tickets, 5th row, $100.00 for 7 hotdogs and 3 beers and $175.00 in balls, shirts and baby elmo dolls?
Smiles.

Bella's Lullaby!

Ah........listen to this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72HsHfhxiUg

WOW
Isabella "Bella" Swan moves from sunny Phoenix, Arizona, to rainy Forks, Washington, to live with her father, Charlie. She chooses to do this so that her mother, Renée, can travel with her new husband, Phil Dwyer, who is a minor league baseball player. Bella attracts much attention at her new school and is quickly befriended by several students. Much to her dismay, several boys in the school compete for shy Bella's attention.

When Bella sits next to Edward Cullen in class on her first day of school, Edward seems utterly repulsed by her. After tricking a family friend, Jacob Black, into telling her local tribal legends, Bella concludes that Edward and his family are vampires who drink the blood of animals, not humans. Edward reveals that he initially avoided Bella because the scent of her blood was so desirable to him. Over time, Edward and Bella fall in love.

Their relationship is thrown into chaos when another vampire coven sweeps into Forks and James, a tracker vampire, decides that he wants to hunt Bella for sport. The Cullens plan to distract the tracker by splitting up Bella and Edward, and Bella is sent to hide in a hotel in Phoenix. Bella then gets a phone call from James in which he says that he has her mother, and that Bella must give herself up to save her. She does so and James attacks her, but Edward, along with the rest of the Cullen family, rescues Bella before James can kill her. Once they realize that James has bitten Bella's hand, Edward sucks the venom out of her system before it can spread and change her into a vampire. Upon returning to Forks, Bella and Edward attend their prom and Bella expresses her desire to become a vampire, which Edward refuses to let happen.

Oh...

I feel like I have lost my best friend. I have completed the Twlight series. All 4 books and refuse to read the 5th one online since it isn't finished. SIGH. I truely am like, what now? Of course, i could pay attention to cleaning my house, and doing laundry, but what fun is that????
Anyone read the series, and move on to a new book or series that you equally enjoyed???? HELP!

Costco......

yesterday, Chris & i went to Costco yesterday and found these 2 super cute dresses. Of course, Cami wanted nothing to do with it and well, Carter did. Oh, the therapy bill....this is going to cost us. What can I say, he was mad he didn't have one and wanted what his sissy's had.

My sweet 6 year old......oh my.

Collin writes everyday first thing when class begins in his journal. He is praised every week for his creativity, colorfulness and time he spends each day on it. Well, Friday is "free day". See below my lovely child's colorful "free Friday". Yes, that says "fart machine" and faaarrrrttttttt. nice, i know, he is his fathers child.

Congratulations Dinner & Cake

We had some yummy roast & veggies for dinner and G'ma and G'pa surprised us with a Celebration cake for Chris's new job. We enjoyed a dinner at the Dinner table and a "real" meal as a family. It is rare it works out, but we will try harder as it was much enjoyed!

HOORAY, CELEBRATE!

I am so proud of my hubby. After 10 years of commitment to his former job and with them being bought out last year, he has been miserable. Not kind of, I mean MISERABLE. The Friday before Christmas, we made a very brave decision and was determined that life was more than him going to that place, and he resigned. Let me tell you, as a wife, as a mom of 4, in today's economy, I was scared for us to do something so irresponsible but I supported him 10000% percent and we were prepared to wait out many months of unemployment. I am proud to report in under a month, he has accepted a new position with a wonderful new company. It is a lateral move as a controller and the income is the same. We can not ask for anything more. We are thrilled beyond belief and so very grateful that God has blessed us.
Thank you all for prayers, referrels and recommendations, we truely have the best friends and family.

OK, I'm an addict

Twilight series, READ THEM!!!!!!!
Less than a week on Book 3 - WOW!

A few more room pictures

So we painted the bathroom red and put silver highlights on the wall to make the blacks pop, the dining room is the most yummy fudge color with gold and silver metallic accents that makes the room amazing. I have fabric picked out but Fallon has to make the curtains yet. I hung my black & whites on the big red wall which i LOVE LOVE LOVE, it is the first thing you see when you walk in. I have to hang ribbon yet to make it look like they are hanging from the rods above them. The bedroom is awesome, we did one wall in a beautiful aqua color w/ chocolate Haliquin (sp) as an accent. It mirrors what the print/texture is in the bedding.!!!! She helped me pick out a fabric for the kitchen and Chris made valances for me and I covered them with this amazing fabric that was on SALE for $3.99 a yard. You have to go to this fabric store on Old Metcalf and 119th. You would not believe the prices! the whole main level has a fresh coat of paint and i love it!

Ah, its a good thing!

During my hubby's recent furlow, he has been very busy on my honey do list. We also hired this amazing painter and did a few rooms on our main level. Let me know what you think. My bedroom and dining room are the favorite!

Oops

The pic below is the kiddos new favorite thing, dipping Vanilla Wafers in Milk before bedtime! so cute (and messy)

Meet My Cousins!

Last Friday my cousins came up from Oklahoma and spent the night with us. Lisa has 3 beautiful children, Beth has 1 and Cara is preggo and due in 1 month. Let me tell you these ladies are absolute the most beautiful people you will ever meet! Lisa & Beth had never met the triplets and as we hung out in our zoo, they fit right in loving them all evening long! We enjoyed Cara's baby shower the next day (forgot to take pics) but LOVED having them up. Can't wait to have them up this Spring!

Where have we been????????

Bad blogger award goes to.....Me. Only me. Wow, that was a long update! So, what have we been doing. Holidays, Holidays, Holidays, Flu, Flu, Flu, Laundry due to the flu, Lysol, Pine-sol, scrubbing every possible inch of my house (which is rare because I have it done), projectile vomiting by all 4 kids and a husband. Did I mention, flu? Oh yea, then I had 3 solid days that i was complelled to kick Christmas back to the basement storage, purge every single closet, every single cabinet, every single junk drawer, rearrange furniture, make 2 trips to Good will will 2 very full truck loads, 3 dumpsters full of junk and a partridge and a pear tree. It was terrific therapy. Until Next Year. Oh, and my husband resigned from his job. Any finance/Accounting contacts, feel free to email us!!!!

Is that Elton John????

Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

SUNSHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were so lucky to let the family enjoy 60 degree weather following Christmas. They LOVED their new Jeeps santa brought them. Hated the helmets, but loved the jeeps. JUST wait til summer, bummper cars, here we come!

then...........

My wonderful son, Carter....after a very long day and a very good nap, we had a bath. Why you ask does he has his diaper on???? Well, after an hour of all 4 kids in the tub, Carter was the first out. i always do diaper first on all then get jammies on, well..........Carter was a little fast for me and decided to jump back in the tub, CLEAN diaper and all into the tub. yes, I am taking the $.19 cents from his College fund. oh, my.

Dear Uncle Steve..........

Oh, Uncle Steve. This year has been the hardest year on all of us. I only pray you see the pain of your departure has put on each of your parents, your brother, your nephews, neices and myself. This was the first Christmas dinner you weren't here. You weren't running late for me to yell at you. I actually looked at the clock before we set down to dinner and wondered what time you would arrive. Almost an entire year later, and I can still hear your voice on the phone asking what time to arrive, and me knowing full well, to buffer it 1 hour for your prompt arrival! hehe. I was at a loss this year. I didn't know what to do for your mom, for your dad, for your brother or for Collin. You have always been an intregral part of this family and especially Christmas. Your packages always perfectly wrapped and your thoughfulness always sincere. I struggled the entire month wondering how we can still remember you, make it through the day, but perhaps start a tradition that we can do every year. You may not be here, but by golly, like it or not, my children and my husband will remember you. So, we bought you 2 balloons and each of us wrote a note to you and we sent them to heaven. I know you got them. I know you read them and I pray you help each and everyone of us find peace with your choice. We love you Steve and we miss you. My children miss you. My son Collin misses you and prays about you everynight with his "happy thoughts". You are special and will always be. I bet you, please help us. Please help mom, dad and your brother be whole again. If not whole, peace. We love you.

We continued our beautiful day opening.......

Gma's, Gpa's, Mawmaw's and papas, Nana's and Papa's all enjoyed opening gifts from the kiddos that were very "THEM"! LOL. Our gift to our parents were buying their plane tickets to Disney in May! How great will that be! 5 beautiful days with our family and both sets of grandparents with connecting rooms? Can we say AWESOME????? We are so thrilled! You can see the kiddos didn't receive a single thing from anyone.
