on the way to school this morning Collin wanted to watch a movie and I told him no, that since I had been gone i wanted to "talk".
Him: "Mom, what do ya want to talk about"
Me; "I don't know, tell me about your week with daddy"
Him; silent for a moment...."mom, do you think dad is strong?"
Me; smiling, i said, "i think your daddy is very strong"
Him; thinking only for a moment, he informed me, "yep, he is strong but not as strong as God, the green hulk guy and the orange guy from fanstastic four
me: chuckling, "son, you are right, non of us are as strong as those three!

Carter - 3 teeth (2 bottom & 1 top)
Cameron - 2 bottom teeth
Cora - 2 bottom teeth
Everyone is crawling and pulling up! They are drinking from a sippy cup and a regular cup. Each of them say mama & dada but not "at" us.
Everyone is teething and getting over a nasty green snot cold.
Cora will eat green beans until she turns green & mac n cheese
Cameron loves peaches & carrots & mac & cheese
Carter loves chicken & mac & cheese
Cameron doesn't like eggs and Carter is not a fan of fruits.
Cora and Carter are my binki babies and Cameron sucks her thumb anytime she is in the crib. It is funny, outside of the crib - nothing - doesn't look for it at all. The minute she is in the crib her thumb goes in the mouth and down she goes.
The girls seem to need much more sleep than Carter. They would take longer naps but little buckaroo wakes them. They sleep about 1 hour & 15 minutes in the morning & afternoons. Sometimes we will get 1 hour & 30 minutes in the afternoon if we are lucky! They are still off to bed at 6:30 (and that is a push), at 6:00 they are ready but we are trying to extend the evenings with them.
They are soo much fun right now! Curious about everything. Sounds, colors & new things, it is wonderful.

1 spilled sprite(thank you mommy), 1 spilled order of chicken fingers (thanks carter), a dozen dropped toys & menus on the floor, 1 order of tator tots just for the trio, 2 Miller lites for mom & dad, Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, finally jammie time. Carter & Collin banging on the table was sooo cute. everything Collin does, Carter has to try....thus the chicken finger mishap.

Collin started back to Hockey last night and we took the whole gang. Cameron hates wearing hats, but other than that the Trio did great! Collin was a rockstar as this was his first true hockey practice with pucks & sticks! He shot a goal and worked soooo hard. We treated him to a great dinner at Shorthorns following practice.

Guess who got a lego stuck up his nose last night? Stuck so far up that it could not be seen and after repeated plugging one nostril and blowing out hard with the other it finally came out....
Let me give you a clue, it was the only 4 year old in the house.............ummmmmmmmmmmmmm

minding my own business. Working hard. On a conference call, when I see Collin's school beaping in on my cell phone.
Me: xx can you hold for a second?
Me: Kim Stephens
Teacher: Kim, this is Ann Marie and I have Collin here with me and I need to discuss the seriousness of his actions during lunch today.
Me: Ok, What happened?
Teacher: We were enjoying Mini (MINI, mind you, thankfully) Corn Dogs today when Collin decided to eat the breading on the outside and put the dog down his pants and proceed to say, "look at me, I have a big ding, ding".
Me: silence, processing the conversation
ME: Dying inside with laughter
Me: still silence and still trying to get the visual in my head.
Teacher: would you like to speak with him?
Me: No, (knowing that I could not make it through the conversation without laughing) can you please tell collin that his dad & I will address it with him when he gets home.
Yes, it really happened.

Girls, I am sorry. You have $100.00 worth of hairbows enroute. I love you, really and I am sorry, but it is a must until you are old enough to tell me differently.
