plumbing in!

not much change but the plumbing is in. Room for the skimmers (2) water feature, LED light and where the stairs are being built are built up. Rumor has it gunite will be shot tomorrow but i think that will depend on the RAIN!

Everyone will be happy to know that Collin sucessfully turned his day around and made the teachers very happy with his apology and good manners all day. He also got to go to swimming lessons. good days.....

Pics of the pool progress today. Got home a little late from Chicago so they are a little dark. The left picture shows a close up of the 8'x10' area that will only be 9" deep. It will have a little fountain in it so the kiddos can splash around in or mommies can sit and sun in!

Collin had a rough day at school today. Sassing his teachers won him a night of shower, dinner & bed. No hockey and with the fact that the next time he sasses his teachers, he will be awarded soap in his mouth. He quickly told his daddy how things would turn around and he would have a better day tomorrow. :-) We'll see if we make swim lessons tomorrow night!

Trio had a great day today. The giggles are growing and becoming more and more often. Each are eating and rolling & growing. Carter is back to sleeping through the night. Only had one binkie call last night!

A few fun facts

We are 5 months (20 weeks) into our triplet adventure......

  • We have fed approximately 3,500 bottles
  • Mixed & poured approximately 17,500 ounces of formula
  • Given over 225 baths
  • Changed over 4,000 dirty diapers
  • Used over 6,500 wipes
  • Washed over 300 loads of laundry
  • We have clipped every 400 fingers & toes

Enjoy!

Exersaucer

Dear Daddy,

Thank you for putting our 2 new exersaucer's together! We don't have to fight over the ONE jumeroo in the house. Cameron is always hogging it.

Since there were too many parts, mommy made us go to bed before we got to sit in them. She was also complaining about all of the baby toys & plastic stuff everywhere. Do you think you can move the big brown chairs & breakfast table so we can take over the entire first level?

Tomorrow we will enjoy our new toys!

love,
your trio

Our family pics!

Our very first family portrait!

Can you tell who is who?

Everyone is getting so big! We are quickly approaching 5 months old! Can you believe it? Everyone has rolled a couple of times (although they aren't happy when they do it)! Carter has decided that sleeping through the night is not much fun. He prefers a little bottle around 2:00 a.m.! No worries, the girls still sleep and he sucks it dry in about 10 minutes! I can handle that! Collin spent the entire weekend playing with all the kiddos on the block. We are sooooo fortunate to live where we do. The families are all amazing and the kids bounce from house to house. love it. Tomorrow they are forming the pool and will plumb and "shoot" the gunite on Tuesday. Will post several pictures!

Can you tell the girls apart? Even the boys are scary similiar!

ramble thoughts

I am off to Dallas tomorrow. SHHHH, don't tell my Aunt & Uncle, I am in and out very quick!!!
They dug the hole for the pool today! it is big. The guys worked until 9:00 p.m. tonight on the pool & Chris & his dad worked on the roof of the gazebo. Progress. Collin stayed home from school today, he was fasinated with the dirt & digging! A huge pile of gravel delivered today and he and the neighbors spent their evening climbing the mountain! Following 4 changes of clothes today (1 due to swimming lessons), I inquired if he was going to do the laundry since he made an entire load himself. He informed me that it is magic. It goes into the laundry room & then gets clean & gets hung in his closet. His magic = Amy.
The babies are doing great! They are all three sooooo close to rolling. All three continue to sleep through the night 7:30 - 7:00 a.m.----yahoo. Carter loses his binkie occasionally but --- no complaints here! Everyone is eating around 20-26 oz daily - 5 bottles per baby (this is down from 8....progress). They are averaging 1 jar of baby food per baby. Fruits & cereals are mastered. We are going to start veggies next week. (check out the pantry below pics) YUUUMMMMMMYYYYY!!! We are also down to about 15 diapers a day (this is down from 30) - this is progress!!
On a serious note, based on yesterdays events, I want to say outloud, how unbelievably blessed I am to have the husband I have and the children God has given me. My heart hurts for those mommies that today woke up and have to deal with the death of their children. it is the unthinkable and so very unfortunate.
It was about this time last year that we found out that we were having 3 babies. Yes, we paused, and thought OMG, how can we possibly do this? Yes, we paused, and thought briefly of reduction. Yes, we paused and realized that God chose US for this amazing adventure. Today, I can not imagine the thought of not having one of my children. Yes, the chaos and stress is intense. Yes, the cries are many, but oh my so are the giggles & laughs. All 4 of our children complete me. They complete our family. I can not imagine the grief, the pain and the emptiness that those mommies feel. God, I pray, please bring them peace, strength and hope. Please let them see tomorrow. amen.
Much love & many prayers.

Little play time outside

OUCH! Head Injury

After Initial cleaning & then the "good" Cleaning

The head wound of the century. After a very busy afternoon of building, playing & meltdowns, the darn swing set fort fought back. NO stitches, but he has informed us all that he lost much blood and it was "all over his face". Good thing he handled it much better than mommy.
