The "fireman" face

Is it a mean face?
Is it a Collin?
Nope, just your everyday Fireman face!!!

Lenexa 2006 BBQ!

This last weekend we went to the Lenexa BBQ! For the first time in 10 years, the heat wasn't 110 degrees! Even has a little rain! Collin wore his "fwippy flops" and wore blisters on his feet so we had to go visit the fire men's booth to get bandaids (I think we went through their entire box). They let Collin ride the "Fire Gater" and push the lights & sirens! Lookin Good Collin!

Babies are growing! Belly picture this weekend!

TRIP picture

The picture here is a picture of all three of them (or bits of them):
Baby A - Head
Baby B - Tummy
Baby C - Head

Yesterday during the sonogram Baby A kept kicking Baby B in the head - there is a membrane separting them but they kept kicking anyway! too cute!

All is well with the Trio! Dr. appointment went very well. Attached are the new pictures of the little ones. Baby A&B are the identicals and baby C is the Lone Ranger!

They were able to share with us what they "think" the sexes are!!!! SO................As of right now, they think the Identicals are girls and the Lone Ranger is a boy! Perfection! Doctor wants me gaining 20 pounds in the next 8 weeks! She said it is critical that I front load my weight gain since our babies aren't going to have the luxury to fatten up the last 8 weeks in my belly. She also wants us to be as "ready" for them as possible by 24 weeks. Nursery done, all items bought and showers over so that if I do get put on strict bed rest these things are ready. (Start saving Diaper Coupons!!)

Our only "red flag" yesterday is that our identicals are sharing a placenta. They have a membrane separating them - which is terrific but they are sharing a placenta. They will watch this closely so that the ensure one twin is not consuming more that another. It is a problem called: Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome. It can be very serious but we will continue to say our prayers!

Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers Day to my wonderful husband! We had a very special wonderful day. Chris got to enjoy some much needed (and overdue) time out with Phil & jeff. They went golfing - 9 holes, and when they got home, we enjoyed a walk down to the pond behind the house (winnie went swimming hunting frogs) and we enjoyed time with the Phil, Sarah, Jeff & Janet accross the street for dinner. We ate tacos and swam in their pool. It was was a great day. I know that I married my best friend but each time I see him with our son, I fall in love all over again.

Also, Happy Fathers Day to Papa, Grandpa Dave, Gpa, and Pawpaw!! We love you oodles!

I kept everything down today! Bowl of cereal, egg sandwich, chicken noodle soup, jello, tacos, and breadsticks from pizza that is progress!

Today I got back from 2 days in Chicago. it is good to be home and see the boys!!! I am still feeling very "iffy". I have a couple of really good days and then they quickly turn to nothing staying down. I am down overall 11 pounds which is concerning considering I am supposed to be consuming 4000 calories and gaining around 60 pounds to get these babies here with some weight on. We see the Peri on Thursday so we will discuss it and a whole lot of other important concerns.

Back from the Doc (I was spotting and concerned). All three babies are good, no stress and they can't find a reason for the bleed. Could have been from when the doc checked my cervix last week. Our lone ranger was kicked back with his legs crossed hanging out the other two were jumping around as to say "look at me, look at me!".

We go to our Perinatologist appt. next Thursday at SMMC.

I got the sweetest card from one of my favorite girls and I wanted to keep it with our journal since it is so special!!

Collin's fippy fopps

I picked Collin up from Ms. Brendas last week and he announced that he wanted Steven's shoes. Ms. Brenda shared that he had been asking him for 3 days if he could have Steven's shoes. I said, What kind of shoes are they? Collin goes to get them and they are Thongs, but Collin says "mom, their fippy fopps". So............on the way out the door, we run into Jen B and she says, Shoot, I wanted to bring collin some shoes (AM I THE LAST TO KNOW, THAT OUR SON WANTED THONGS????), so, we called Daddy and off to Old Navy he went and brought Collin some fippy fopps. He has worn them day (and night) for a week. We have a it with $2.99 pair of fippy fopps.

I am feeling great, belly is growing and Wednesday is 11 weeks!

9w6d we are released from Dr. Brabec! All three babies are doing well! They are measuring a perfect 10 weeks. Baby A's heartbeat is 155. Baby B's heartbeat is 160 and Baby C's heartbeat is 166.

We will now meet with our OB and Peri and create a plan! I am starting to feel much better as morning sickness is subsiding. My belly has certainly poked out this week. we will try to post a belly picture each week.

Attached are the sonogram pictures from today. Baby A &B share a sac and baby C is our lone ranger

We told Collin about the new additions on the way and his response was "oh, will they pop out?".

Night before last, he announced to Chris & I that Collin has decided that we are having all boys and he has named them; Zac, Justin & Austin (oh boy!!)
